Think I'm in slow labour...

Very very mild contractions for 2 days now, just period pains really. They're coming every 10-15 minutes now. I keep needing to poo. Baby has been engaged for 4 weeks (second baby), but since yesterday has felt even lower in my pelvis - pressing on a very painful nerve and causing on/off pressure in my bum.

First labour was 3 weeks of "warm up" contractions. Then 0-3cm took 27 hours, 3-5cm took 6 hours, 5-10 took 2 hours and pushing took 1 hour. Hope this is quicker!

Anyone want to place bets? Could all be nothing of course! I'm 38 weeks exactly.

ooooh, exciting! Good luck!

Second babies are usually quicker so if they're coming every 10-15 mins....you could be on for a baby in the next wee while!

Well it completely tailed off to nothing overnight so I have woken with no baby and no signs of having a baby. I'm so pissed off!

Looks like it might be 3 weeks on warm up again for me.

At least things are heading in the right direction!

(sorry, I know that EVERYTHING anyone says about impending labour is really annoying, but I am trying to be supportive so it comes with good intentions!)

that's ok! I'm hoping it'll be one of those "oh you're already at 5cm and you didn't even realise" moments when true labour finally shows up.
