PPH and iron levels - confused!

Do you still have your notes? My notes said how much mine was, it was written down as PPH and then a figure. It might have been on the delivery summary sheet, which they put a copy of in the baby's red book. I don't know about the gb levels thing.

Keep your fluids up and try not to worry if your milk takes a little longer to come in! Mine did but was plentiful when it arrived!

12 is the same as 120. It's just the new way of calibration

120 g/L is the same as 12 g/dL. But that rule of thumb doesn't sound right. My discharge notes said I 'only' lost 500ml-1L. But my hb levels (which had been over 130) dropped so low I needed two blood transfusions just to get back up to 80 so I could be discharged.

There should be an estimate on your discharge summary. If not, you should be able to ring up and ask.
