Just wondered when all the swelling goes down and normal weight loss after childbirth evens out.When will I know how much work I have to do to get in shape?It's my second section and I can't remember when it was first time around I'm just over 3 weeks after dc2 and my belly still feels huge; it makes me sad as I was slim and fairly toned before having children.I know, I know it's only three weeks ...
It took me about 3 months after section number 2. It really did. Then over a year to get back into a decent pair of jeans. Congratulations though and stop thinking about it for a bit!
I'd wait till 6 weeks. For me that was the start of Xmas munching! So I waited a bit longer for the diet and I'm waiting till 12-14 weeks for running but lower level exercise is ok from 6 according to the obsterician.
