Hi ladies,

I am having my first baby by c section at the above hospital in Essex.

I just wondered if anyone has had their section here be it ELCS OR EMCS?

I'm intrigued to find out people experiences before, during and after.

Did you feel you were looked after and have good aftercare? How long did you stay in for?

Thank you very much in advance :-)

xx

Hi, I'm not from the area so can't help, but you might want to condsider popping your post on the Mumsnet Essex chat boards too as you're more likely to get a response from local folk :)

Good luck

I narrowly missed having a EMCS at PAH recently. I was in for several days as in premature labour, and my son is still in NICU there. Obviously can't give you specifics about CS but I can tell you that all the staff - and I met quite a few of them! - were lovely, very kind and understanding. The NICU is amazing, tho hopefully you won't need to know that!
