Experiences after bloody show if you were overdue please

Hi, I'm 7 days overdue today and at 4am started to feel restless so I got up and realised that I had a bloody show when I went to the loo. I continued to have similar on and off all day when wiping (sorry if tmi!). I have also had stomach cramps on and off all day and generally feel uncomfortable.
I am booked in for an induction on Tuesday, do you think this is likely to go on till then? I know everyone is different just curious of other experiences.
Thank you
X

Hope you're ok still - my experience went: bloody show, labour, baby. All within 12 hours.

Had my bloody show at 41 weeks then was induced at 42! I got so excited when I saw it too!

Cramps sounds more promising though, fingers crossed you are on your way! Good luck! :D

Thanks for the replies, not much change so looks like it could be a long few days!

Good luck funky! It would definitely get my hopes up too. Especially if it was totally spontaneous (ie not after having a sweep).

My waters went c. 24 hours after show started. Contractions started soon after.

I had bloody show on a Saturday afternoon and general cramping/contractions on/off till the Monday when they became strong and regular. Baby was born at 7.30 on the Tuesday morning.

I'm 7 days over today too (snap!) and I had a non-bloody show on Tuesday, and then again on Thursday. No cramps whatsover since, so I suspect in my case it means absolutely nothing. Sad

Am booked in for Wednesday (Tuesdays was full up) and fully expect nothing to happen spontaeneously in the meantime given my lack of symptoms. Fairly glum about it but just getting through it. Hope you have better luck over the weekend! Flowers
