were your babies born by cs or vaginally?

did they have to stay in the scbu/nnu?

what treatment were they given?

how many days were they in there?

My DS2 was born at 39 weeks by planned CS.

He was in the SCBU for 5 days.

He was on CPAP, surfactant (single dose was needed) and antibiotics. He was also on the ventilator for 1 day.

Ds born at 37 weeks by elective CS.

Fluid on lungs, but no one noticed until his lung collapsed (shit hospital) so he was in scbu for three weeks. Although the last week was nurses faffing about feeding - when we finally saw a ped he was so angry ds was still there and discharged us immediately.
