Did u find being vocal during labour help with the pain...?? Just reading JuJu Sundin's book & she advises to be vocal with Aaahhh's etc. I'm quite reserved & worry that I'd embarrass myself! But I expect in the throes of labour I won't actually give a shit smile
This is my first baby (due on tues) so no horror stories pls!! thanks

I told the midwife I felt like I was pushing but because I'd been checked an hour earlier and was 5cm she said 'it may feel like you are but it's just all the pressure'. Despite this I continued to grunt into my gas and air pipe and pushed because I had literally no choice. DP said I growled at one point. Of course about ten minutes later the midwife checked and shouted 'okay weeblueberry you're about to give birth'. I was like hmm yeah I've been telling you I've been pushing for about half an hour. I think I shocked her a little grin
