vbac2, help please!

Has anyone had a vbac2 in hospital?
I tried and failed at a vbac last time. I really want to try and go for it this time, but I know the hospital is not very keen.
I am standing up for myself so far, but that is easy when you are only 14 weeks. I am worried that towards the end when they pile on the pressure, I may not be strong enough.
If anyone has managed it, how did you keep your resolve?
Any advice from anyone would be great!
Or if anyone is in the same situation, please feel free to come on the thread and discuss.
Back soon,
x

so that would be no-one then.
No wonder, my consultant isn't very keen.
Surely someone is in or has been in the same situation.
Begging now.

Yes I have, twice and managed it both times!! why don't you join this website? \link{http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/ukvbachbac\ukvbac/hbac chat site} they are really supportive and can direct you where else to go.

Don't be disheartened, sadly though you will have to fight for it, whereabouts are you? I changed hospital which made all the difference.

Hi Lulu, will have a look at those links, thanks.
I am in Redbridge, and booked in at King George hospital.
My dh is very supportive, I might even go for home birth. I really hate hospitals!
Where abouts are you?

I have no useful experience to share -- more of section veteran myself. But, thought I'd bump for you. There are surely more successful VBA2C stories on mumsnet. Have you tried doing a search on VBA2C?

Second the ukvbac/hbac idea, also try aims.org.uk for great advice on the care you're entitled to.

I'm due in 8 days and hoping for vba2c, hope you get the right support.
