If there was a reason for you to have an EMC, you'd have one. So why change it now?

Don't let them fob you off. Get your DH in and make a fuss.

I hope you are well,

Have you shared your fears with the nurse, and the registrar?

Do you have someone there with you, who can help explain how you feel?

I'm de to have an elective c section on Monday because I had a placental abrupt ion and regency c section with DD1.

However I've been in hospital for the 24 hours as I've been having contractions every 10 mins for that time.

A senior registrar has told me I may have to have a vac as they are very busy and may not be able to fit me in for c section.

I'm totally unprepared for this, mentally and physically, and spent months deciding whether to go for the c section or not.

I'm really worried as I have a higher risk of having another abruption and the risks of vac after a previous c section.

The only thing I can do is hope the baby doesn't arrive before the planned c section on Monday.

Is there anything Ican do to have the c section? I'm terrified of gaving another extremely traumatic birth and feel as if I'm bring forced to have a vbac
