How long after your bloody show did you go into labour?

I'm 39+1 today and have been having mild contractions on and off for over a week, also had quite a bit of diarrhoea. Lost my mucous plug over the last couple of days, and this morning woke up to a bloody show.

I'm now having slightly stronger contractions, could this be it? And do I need to phone maternity? Waters broke first with DS1 so didn't have to make that judgement call.

So ready to have this baby, I think I'll cry if this all amounts to nothing!

That sounds hopeful... Had so many false starts starting to feel like there is no baby!

Would be a very good day to have him, as I had a night out with DH last night, and DS is already with his GPs. Possibly too convenient?

Wanted to go to a car boot today, but that was about it. Probably will still go as it's close to the hospital and will take my mind off things (everywhere is close to the hospital here though).

DH has people coming round to watch the F1 though Grin so he might miss that, and he is supposed to be playing a gig at 4, but would like him to be able to do that as it's a charity one, and a chance for DS to see him play.

So things will probably start to kick off at about 4.15 then!

Still getting contractions but they're really irregular, though are definitely tipping over from uncomfortable to painful.

Trying not to get too excited!

Hi all

40 weeks + 2 and just had mucus plug go and a fair amount of v pale pink liquid (coming regularly bit by bit). Embarrassingly I can't decide whether it's a show or waters breaking! No contractions just period pain style feeling.

Hoping things are finally happening! Apols for hijack just v excited as had nothing til now and was getting frustrated. Hope everything is going well for you Multiples and that both our babies come soon (if yours has not made an appearance already!)
