I'm 37 + 3 pregnant with DC 3. All day yesterday had backache and felt periody. This morning ahem pooed to the point i thought I'd never stop sorry for the tmi, then proceeded to puke a couple of times.

Had a few hit n miss contractions or braxton hicks who knows this morning, now they're every 20-30 minutes.

Is it too early to call midwife? Home birth planned.

Call the midwife as she may want to check you but if she doesn't it's still good to let her know your progress and she can advise you from there.

Good luck and congratulations!

Thanks. Called MW just now as they're coming a bit closer now every 18-25 mins. She said to ring back again in an hour and to take paracetamol Angry!!

They might not be close together yet but they're catching my breath already and DS (2.9) wants me to read him the grufflalo Hmm. DD (15months) is napping and have called DH out of a meeting.

Update: waters went at 2.40pm not a Hollywood gush or anything spectacular but rang MW again and she's been to examine me. 4cms dilated but contractions bearable. Puked again though

Good luck with your homebirth! It all sounds very exciting. I had no.3 last August at home, it was great.

What a lovely friend you have too Smile.

2.9yo, 15m and a new baby... get ready for lots of "You've got your hands full!" comments (My twins were 2.3 when I had DS and I hear that A LOT! It makes me feel quite proud though Smile)
