hello, have got mine tomorrow - can anyone tell me what to expect?

I actually never had mine, because my waters broke before my planned date, and so it was done earlier -

But I was told to expect the following: - have bloods taken (I think they check iron levels in particular) - I would be weighed - I would be taken through the risks yet again, and any final paperwork would be signed. Blood pressure would be taken. They would want a urine sample. I was also told the anaesthetist would 'have a chat', and I could ask any questions I wanted to. They might give me the pre-op meds (an antacid tablet, one to take the evening before, the other the morning before - I think, but don't quote me on that).

It all sounded fairly low key, and I wasn't anticipating any problems (BMI fine, low BP etc), so I guess it didn't matter that I never got one.

thank you - i am hoping it will be straightforward, but as nothing so far seems to be, am prepared for it not to be! i have been on iron tabs, so was going to ask if i should keep taking those till the op. That's if i get as far as the in fear am going to go into labour before then! thanks.
