I'm crossing my fingers for a vbac, but am a little concerned about how my spd will set in.
This pregnancy has been relatively spd free (now 36 weeks). Only a couple of incidences after pushing myself too hard (lifting up toddler and walking) where it has affected me badly. But those incidents have me a little worried, as the level of pain was immense, and imagining what contractions would feel like on top of that make me wonder how i would react in labour. I don't know whether contractions would set off my spd - or since i've, thankfully, got off lightly this time round, i don't need to worry about it.
I'm very keen to go down the hypnotherapy possibly gas and air route to keep my vbac as intervention free as possible.
I didn't experience contractions last pregnancy due to elcs - so have no idea what i'm in for.
I guess i'd like to know your experience with spd and labour.
Many tia.
