My DD 13 went through a period of self harm last year. School were brilliant with her and she saw the school counsellor, the GP referred her to a mental health organisation but DD said she'd rather stick with the school counsellor which really seemed to help her.
Last night she told me she'd done it again, last time she never told me it was school that noticed.
She's said she's happy for me to speak to school about it but doesn't want me to phone the GP.
She's still attending school (I'm NHS worker) I've been trying to get through to school this morning but nobody's answering yet.
Should I just speak to school or go against her wishes and speak to the GP?
