Can't wait, after many months of deliberating we have finally got a chicken breeder to incubate some eggs for us and we shall get the pullets when they are feathered up and can go outside. We are having 3 silver dorkings and 2 gold-laced orpingtons.
Just got the run and hen house to make 1st. I have bought some paving slabs for the base of the run, what does everyone recommend for putting on top? I was also thinking of putting a roof or at least some netting over the run to make it a little more fox proof, what do you think?
