Anybody ever eaten a bantam?

I have 5 Polish bantams and unfortunately 3 of the five have turned out to be cocks and they have now started to crow! We need to get rid and you can guess the obvious solution! They are however very small birds, about the size of a partridge and was just wondering if anyone else has ever eaten a bantam. How much meat is on them? Would you say 2 would be equivalent to a the average oven ready?

The dreadful deed was finally done yesterday! Our friend who is experienced in the art of killing, plucking and gutting came and did them and they are now in the freezer!
There is a supriseing amount of meat, considering how small the birds where, enough for at least 2 family dinners, I would say.

In my younger days I had Old English Game, Silver Duckwing bantams. Alas the cockerels were rather tough eating, even when very young, so only stewable.

They tasted good by the way, plenty of meat on the breasts and the leg meat was dark and quite gamey tasting.
