The chickens have arrived!

We have been planning to get some chickens for some time, we got the coop at the weekend, painted it and got it all ready. A friend of DH works on a farm and said he could get us some young hens. We where not sure of the breed, but
have had some nice eggs from him in the past so
agreed. They arrived this morning and are white
crested black polish. He says they are all hens, am hoping so! Does anyone else keep Polish chickens?

We got ours at the weekend too ,two speckledys and a bluebelle;Clover,Penny and Hepsibah!

we've had 6 eggs so far!

we have 1 white crested polish bantam- she is very cute, but not a good layer, are these bantams too? eggs are tiny! also, she was quite badly bullied to begin with, but if they are all the same I guess that won't happen. he is v funny, hardly looks like a chicken, we call her Guinness.
