Her ladies in waiting are Blossom (named after apple blossom) and Bluebell - both plants flowering when they moved in. Last week we brought home two new girls, Coucou and Lavender. In chicken heaven are Rose, Amy (both named after the Doctor's assistants) and Pecky (DS chose her name, and supremely apt it was too).

I tend to just call mine by the breed or distinguishing features, so i have Ginger, the black one, little leghorn, and just got four new hens to go with them (tonight is the first nighttime they're been in together so must go and check on them).

The new ones are two heritage skyline's so will probably be called Nissan mk3 and Nissan mk4, one white leghorn and one silverlink.

MrsLettuce Sun 12-May-13 21:13:38

Susan, Mary and Gwen.
