Help! Very poorly hen

Hello all, I really need some help. Background: hybrid hen just started sitting around a couple of weeks ago (I was on holiday and they were being minded by friend who told me). Hen stopped laying and stopped escaping by flying over the fence every day. She then started twisting her neck and being wobbly. I have taken her to the vets, she's had 3 antibiotic shots but is no better. She's not very active, not inquisitive. She is eating and drinking and has not lost weight.

Vet says it could be an ear infection but this would have cleared up with antibiotics.

Vet says equally it could now be a neurological condition (infection, virus etc).

My other 2 hens are absolutely fine and behaving normally.

Anyone got a clue as to what could be going on?

No sorry. the vet is the best answer and they don't seem to know. you might have to accept that she is on the decline and decide whether to keep her as she is or send her to the coop in the sky. always a tricky decision especially if she is still eating and drinking but if she isnt really enjoying life then it has to be done. good luck

Thank you. She seems to be on the up! She escaped today (only way is to fly!!!) so I'm really hopeful.
