Thank you for sharing! what lovely names. I made a list of potential names earlier blush(avoiding work... DP thinks I am nuts) that included Hilda and Vera and I love Gloria and Gladys and penny.

Lol at ASBO chicken. mine are noisy and probably a bit sweary but they're not too antisocial. Unless my sister visits - Marjorie attacks her toenails grin

ASBO Chicken hides in the shrubbery and goes all kung fu on anything's arse that saunters passed, chicken and human alike.

We had Margot and Barbara but Barbara died, so now we have Margot, Cagney and Lacey!

Narcissa (vain and is always looking at her reflection)

Bronte (she's from Yorkshire)

Cathy (another from Yorkshire - so Heathcliff's lass)

I had Trixie Dixie and Pixie, but Trixie turned into a Travis and i had to rehome Pixie and Dixie to a lovely mumsnetter on here when we moved.

Currently in the process of finding a way to have chickens again...possibly under the decking confused grin

Grockle Sun 08-May-11 08:03:35

They're all lovely. I fear this thread is turning me into even more of a crazy chicken lady than I already am.

florencerusty Tue 10-May-11 20:35:14

Maud, Marilyn, Norma-Jean, Flo and Mo. Mr Fox (the bugger) had Aud and Mabel sad

GemAimee Tue 10-May-11 23:11:25

I had Britney and Christina, but Brit is no longer with us.

Then we got ducks, both girls, and I made the mistake of allowing DP to name them - Richard and Judy. You can tell which one is Judy by her big white bosom...

marmiteandhoney Wed 11-May-11 13:57:47

Mavis, Henrietta, Violet and Flora. We did have an Enid but she died.
We have two chicks called Hilda and Elsie.

AnonymousBird Wed 11-May-11 14:10:38

Marian (tough nut)
Goldy (deputy tough nut)
Speckledy
Bluebell
Snowy

Basically named by DC, so highly unoriginal names but they are all absolutely gorgeous!

Ours are Roxy, Velma & Mama (Morton). They used to live in an enclosed run so we went for a prison theme (think Chicago grin). It's amazing how much they play to character!

LittleB Sun 22-May-11 21:18:01

Grockle we also have Daisy, also lavendar, copper, chocolate, crumble, pumpkin, truffle, guiness and conker. Brownie turned out to be a cockrel and went to a new home.
