Bag for toddler+baby

I'm looking for a few suggestions for a big messenger style changing bag to use for a toddler who's still in nappies and a baby. I currently use the Boots Parenting Club one, and it's good enough for one, but would like something a bit bigger.

It needs to have good parent space too, so I can use it as my everyday bag, and preferably not be too feminine or fussy so my husband won't feel embarrassed about using it.

I'd like to be able to get at the bits and pieces easily to change nappies while it's still over my shoulder, rather than have to dig around to find them.

I'd also like one that looks like a regular bag, not too much like a changing bag, if you see what I mean?

Suggestions gratefully appreciated.

I've got a Skip Hop Via messenger bag which sounds like just what you need.

It comes in various plain colours (we have black) and has 18 different pockets for keeping things in. It comes with a change mat and the contrast lining really does make it easier to spot things inside. I also love the shuttle clips for clipping it to our pushchair handles. Definitely not feminine or fussy too.

It's expensive but well worth every penny IMO.

I linked to Amazon for speed, it's probably cheaper elsewhere online. I think I got mine from Jojo Maman Bebe with the MN discount code.

Thanks for the suggestion, it does look interesting. I wish more of these online shops would give internal pictures of changing bags, it's hard to get a feel for what it's really like inside.

I can take some pictures and post them if it'd help?

Thanks, but don't go to the bother - I'm going to go to Kiddicare sometime soon, and they stock them so I'll take a look then.

I would just buy a big bag from eg, Accessorise. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and use a big handbag for carting all the gear about

I used to use changing bags but thought they were too small.
