Car delivery

I paid over £100 to get my new car delivered to me and they failed to turn up on the date it was arranged for. I had cancelled the insurance on my old car and transferred it to my new one along with the tax. It left me without a car. They eventually delivered it 24 hours late but are refusing to refund any delivery charge. Anyone know if this is right or do i have a case for a refund ?
