We have a version of windowsox (made by another company but does the same thing). marvellous!! So easy to put on and off. Also stops flying beasties in the open windows and any toys being lobbed out too!!

Remember to put a blind on your rear window as the sun coming in from the back straight onto little ones faces can be quite horrid

No, they are only about as thick as tights. You can get the seatbelt stuck in the door and it still closes, so they will definitely not affect it.

We have windowsox, they're the best invention ever. They do NOT compromise the safe closing of the door!

Excellent - thanks. Windowsox look perfect. Do they compromise the safe closing of the door, though? hmm I assume not, but that was DH's first question. Anyone used them? Any DCs fallen out?!

Yes was just coming to recommend the windowsox! They are like a big sock which you pull over the window when the door is open and they can't be pulled off.

i'm nearly sure that besafe had a sunshade but not in the uk from memory...if you can't find it-i can't at the minute look on www.carsaet.se and there is a sunshade to fit all seats except duologic. i'm sure if you emailed hakan he wouldn't charge you 30 euro postage for one sunshade. either that or call www.incarsafetycentre.co.uk and see if they have one.

Oooh, that's a good idea, hadn't thought about that. His seat is a Be Safe Easifix Combi (can be rear- or front-facing). I'll investigate the website....

can you get a sunshade for his seat? i know some of the rf seats have a shade as an accessory. which seat is it?

Hoping someone can help me with this: my DS (11 months) keeps pulling off the sunshade which is stuck to the car window next to his carseat. We have the Mothercare sunshades shaped like cats' heads - they don't stick brilliantly at the best of times but are certainly no match for him when he's determined to play with them.

He's in a rear-facing carseat and has just moved up to the next size so he's higher up than he used to be (which is how he's reaching the sunshade).

Anyway, now he's constantly pulling off the sunshade before we've even got out of the driveway and then screaming because the sun is in his eyes. With summer approaching, I need to find a better solution!

Not sure whether this is a particular problem because he is rear-facing, or whether the next size up of forward-facing seats is also higher.

If anyone can suggest shades which stick better or are fixed in a different way and would be more resistant to his attempts to dismantle them, I would really appreciate it!

TIA
