What baby + car seat

Hello everyone,

A friend of mine is looking for a cheap (she is a single parent) car seat that is suitable for her 3 month old. She would also like to be able to use it for as long as she can before purchasing another.

I am not really sure what I can sugest to her so am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction.

I think I am right in believing that purchasing a second hand car seat is not an option.

I very much hope someone can help.

Does she want a car seat that is removable so she can use it to carry baby or is she happy with a fixed seat?

Do not buy secondhand. you never know if its been in an accident
