can't open link (no idea why, just doing the redirectingat thing)

I have a BeSafe Izikid Isofix for dd2. It technically goes form birht, but the manufacturers recommned from 6 months+.

it does have a baby insert bit (but no headhugger), but I couldn't see a baby going inot it. dd2 was in it from about 2 years old (she's tiny, and was in her infant carrier beofre that) so maybe that's part of it, but it wouldn't seem protected enough for a newborn.

I have that seat and although it's great it'd be no good for a newborn. Not enough recline. We used the Maxi Cosi Cabrio fix first.

It needs the least room for fitting of all RF seats, just 72cm. It actually fits in a Ford Ka!

No experience of that seat
We have a Britax Hiway and a Roundabout - both are fine from newborn

Lenin I have a Britax 0-9 car seat that has been very little used. You are welcome to have it if you want it.

No, it's not an Isofix one.

I find the emotional blackmail that comes with buying a carseat really quite shocking.

I hope you all put crash helmets on your babies when you are carrying them in their car seats? And are using the latest surface-grip tyres and latest braking systems on your pushchairs?

We have britax seat birh to 4. We were unfortunate to have a car crash when DS was 4 weeks old when he was in traditional baby carrier. Obviously we ditched it so we bought the Britax and he looked so much comfier in that!! It is fab, very comfortable, or so it seems!!

And I have just realised, that at almost 2, Ds is still well within the weight limit for it rear facing!!!
