Hi all,

I need a "spare" car seat for my mum's car when she does the occasional pick up from school. DS1 is 4 and 15kg. I had planned on a Joie Trillo but saw the Cybex B-fix for £70 in the sale. It seems to have done ok in the ADAC, any experiences with this seat?

No experience with it, but the joie Trillo actually gets better results on the OAMTC testing! I believe the seat is slightly bigger than the Trillo, and doesn’t have cup holders. The Trillo doesn’t decline but I believe teh Cybex boosters have a reclining headrest so if your DS falls asleep in the car this could be more useful Smile

Really! That's interesting! I knew the Trillo had done well in testing for an inexpensive seat which is why it was originally my plan to go for that one. Maybe I'll just stick with it then!

It's the Trillo LX which does better, not the basic one. Not that the basic one is bad, but the LX is a bit more expensive and so I'd probably go for the Cybex over the basic model of Trillo.

There are several Cybex Solution models which come out at about £60-70 in sales, I think it's a good choice if you find a deal on one.
