How does the Cozy N Safe Excalibur fair in terms of safety/testing etc? Looks like a good seat and fairly priced, it's for my 22lb 2 year old but we need to buy 2 of them.

Also, reading reviews it says it can't always be fitted with the iso fix fittings is this true??

As he's fairly small, you could just get an 18kg seat as you are unlikely to get the use out of a 25kg seat. This could be a cheaper option. Obviously rear facing is far safer than forward facing, especially for a light child so something like the Joie Stages would be a good choice. Otherwise you could look into the brands like Britax at their 18kg seats if you want forward facing.

The Cosy n Safe is an ok seat but it does require both isofix and top tether to fit it. It's an adequate forward facing seat but because of the load placed on the neck in the event of an accident, forward facing seats cannot score on the more demanding safety tests such as the Swedish plus test. Rear facing will always be a far safer option.
