Correct size for a maxi cosi rodifix

I’ve just bought a group 2-3 car seat (maxicosi rodifix) for my 4 year old. It says from 15kg but she’s only 13kg but height 99cm so getting a bit tall for the maxi cosi pearl. What are your thoughts? Is it safe to put her in the rodifix at 2kg below recommend weight? I’m guessing not but if it’s more about the height because of where the seat belt sits then is she safer in the rodifix?

It's a minimum weight so 13kg is too light for it. Maybe should get a 123 seat as she can then stay harnessed until 15kg (think max is actually 18kg for the harness) and then use the seatbelt

You definitely can't use a HBB yet. It's not legal because the seat hasn't been tested with less than 15kg.

Is she actually too tall for the Pearl or are you just concerned that she's getting closer to the height limit? If she's not actually too tall for it yet, I'd just keep using the Pearl until it's outgrown.

With the Pearl you can use it until she is 18kg or until her eye level reaches the top of the seat.
If it’s a 2 way pearl you have then you can use it until she is 105cm.
Definitely don’t use the rodifix yet

Thanks I’d forgotten the Pearl was up to 18kg. Yep definitely keeping her in the Pearl until 15 kg
