Narrow 1/2/3 carseat?

Need a carseat for DD who is 14kg (almost 3). I can eke out the current one if need be but it's old and looking a bit grotty. 3 kids in the backseat; one is a high back booster, one in the middle who can go without a carseat now as he's tall enough. We don't own a car, we just rent and it changes every few months; sizing varies from about a peugeot 108 right up to a big 7 seater SUV, so we don't want a car seat that's too wide as who knows if we'll get everyone on the next car we have otherwise.

I'll be likely buying online (EU) as variety is a bit limited here (and more expensive), so i can't necessarily see them first. Any recommendations? She gets carsick so not sure if rear facing is helpful.

We have a joie elevate, which is a 123 seat, it is reasonably narrow.

Apparently the Klippan Triofix is fairly narrow as three can all fit side by side along the back seats. Haven't got one myself yet, I'm just about to buy one. Might be worth a look though!

Thanks theegular ... I hadn't come across that one. I'd been previously excited by a different, 3 across brand but it seems that model isn't for sale in eu

We recently got this one from halfords as we had to fit 3 across a narrow car (Land Rover defender). It's 42cm wide:

You can search for narrow car seats on mumsnet (plenty of threads) or try here:
