Baby car seat recommendations please

So my baby is 9 months old and I need to get him a new car seat.

I am quite specific with what I know I want, but all the hundreds of websites with thousands of options is a bit stressful to look all through and I don't have much time

I would like it to be one that lasts a few years, and is backward facing. And obviously, is a really good and safe model.
Our Budget isn't massive thoughts it can't be moe than like 200 probably

If anyone has a recommendation like this then would be great to hear it

Thanks :) bless you all

I recommend this one:

incarsafetycentre.co.uk/product/2-way-elite-cosmos-black/

It lasts to 25kg rear facing and is also really tall so I've heard of kids still in it at 6 years old! I'm planning on keeping mine in it roughly until she's going to school then I'll put her in a high back booster. It's a great price for what it is, it's lightweight and easy to take on holiday if you're flying and will need a car seat, and it's safe.

Look at the Facebook group 'car seat advice for mummies and daddies'. They're advice is always really good and they're rear facing experts. If you search for your car type you'll be able to see what seats have been recommended for your car.

Like the PP the Britax Two Way Elite is a really good option but at 9mo your DS might be a bit small. They need to be well into 12-18mo clothing before they fit that one so you would need to use your infant carrier a bit longer until it was closer to being outgrown.

We’ve got this one:

www.joiebaby.com/product/every-stage/

It will last DS until he no longer needs a seat. It’s easy to adjust and fit in the car too. He went in it at around 8 months I think and it’s rear facing until 4 years.

We paid £160 for it at Mothercare.
