Hello all!

I've been researching this all over google but can't seem to find the answer. Does any body know if maxi cosi pebble plus compatible with a maxi cosi easybase 2?

No you need the 2 way fix base for the pebble plus (and then the 2 way pearl).

Thanks Welshweasel! They did say it is compatible with pearl base but it is isofix but my car does not have isofix. Looks like I'm going to have to stick with just pebble.

The pebble is a good seat. The other option would be to go for a belted 0-4 seat from the start, that would save you having to buy another one in a year's time.

Welshweasel I was thinking of pebble plus due to the isize that is coming into effect soon I think. 0-4 would not be compatible with my pram which is one of the requirement.

Thanks for your advice and I will actually look into 0-4 car seat.

You don't need to worry about I-size. Seats that are approved to R44/04 (the current regulations) are still on sale and will be for some time. And even when we get to the point where all new seats have to be approved under R129 (I-size) you'll still be able to use R44/04 seats for a long time. You can actually still use an R44/03 seat right now, and seats stopped being approved under those regulations in June 2005.

Also, the Pebble Plus has a height limit and can only be used until the baby weighs 12kgs. The Pebble can be used until the top of the baby's head becomes level with the top of the seat and has a weight limit of 13kgs, so the Pebble will last longer.

That's a relief, Alice. Thank you so much for sharing!
