Car seat group 1 for Qashqai

I am struggling to find a car seat for DD2. To be honest I haven't got much time (!) as she has outgrown her first and I have been to JL and Halfords today to be told that they don't have anything that will fit our car in stock (in store) and will take several days to order....We are going away on Thursday for a week (long drive) and I wanted to get one sorted before.

Can anyone advise what can be used with a Qashqai? Apparently the seatbelt length was the issue. I was told we could use the Joie one with a base but that's £300 and I just don't think we can stretch to that at the moment. Any advice welcome!

What age and weight is your Dd?

Maxi-Cosi 2way Pearl fits in a Qashqai (but obvs may not be suitable for your daughter).

We've got a Nuna Rebl, a Cybex Sirona and a Kiddy Guardian Pro, they all fit in DH's Qashqai, they're all isofix and fairly pricey though.

There's the britax multi tech 2 but that can be difficult to get hold of. Britax max way? Or the hauck varioguard is on a good offer at the moment.

Sorry she is 16 months, 9.8kg!

She should still be ok weight wise for her old seat as they normally do to 13kg. Is her head over the backrest? It is ok for legs to be over the front of the seat as long as her head is still supported by the headrest.

And are you looking for rear facing or forward facing?
