(7 Posts)I bought a joie steadi for grandma's car. Pleased with it for what it is (cheap holiday/spare seat) but wouldn't want it to be my everyday seat. Personally I really like the besafe seats.
Erm I think to 12 but can't be sure. It is definitely linked to the seats. We had it in a focus before and the back seat is more tilted. It does fit better in the Citroen c4.
Um neither......it was father in laws car and he said it hadn't got isofix........Off tocheck
Are you sure that you have no isofix in your car? Have you poked your fingers down the back of the seat or have you just looked for an isofix tag on the seat?
I have, mother in law bought it for her Nissan Note though, which isn't huge. I think the head lolling must depend in the rear seats of the car. In the Nissan, the seat is laid down, ds was straining to try to sit up in it! Do you have the seat that goes to age 7 or 12?
I have the stages, the recline is okay but we have had some head lolling. It's very big, not sure it will fit in a golf. Have you checked the approved vehicle list for it?
I bought a maxi cosi opal as lugging ds around in his infant seat, in and out of a 3Dr car was doing my back in. It was the only seat available that was rear facing and seatbelt fixed, from John Lewis (I had vouchers to spend.....) ds head lolls forward alarmingly, and I have changed my car. Still no isofix but back doors which helps.
I also need a seat for my mums car.
So my car is a 04 golf. Mums a Ford galaxy, possibly also 04 so neither have isofix.
I am not made of money but am prepared to take the hit on my credit card for the safety aspect!
Any experience of the joie stages? It rf til 4, I have seen one in a car and the recline seems tube very laid back.
Any other options?
