Maxi Cosi Pebble vs Silver Cross Simplicity

Hi all, would welcome any views on these seats. They seem to get a similar score on Which, they appear to be the same weight. Has anyone used either / have any recommendations? It's for my first DC so all this is v new to me.

We've got the Pebble Plus (little insert for little baby) and it's great. Snaps on & off our Uppababy Vista no problem; easy to strap into the car (we don't have Isofix); and seems to be comfy.

My only beef with it is that you have to press two little buttons (either side) to release it from the buggy, meaning you need to lean over, have both hands free, then manoeuvre the carry handle into one hand to place it in the car. I'd prefer a release button on the carry handle, which is what our Uppababy carrycot has.

We've been very happy with the pebble and base for the car meaning very easy to fit.
