Hi, I can't decide whether to go for the longer rear facing and/or isofix. Don't want to spend more than 200ish and am limited in space as have to have older child in the boot bit and both dh and I are tall, already the maxi cosi baby seat makes space limited tbh.

Any ideas?

Also would really like to just go and buy one and have it fitted but I know they are easy enough if not possible so would buy online.

Definately look at rearfacing.co.uk for local stockists. Many arent that big to be honest.
TWE and Maxway would suit your budget.

Also look at the new joie stages that is ERF to 18kg- babies r us.

We have a rear facing Britax 2 way elite in our zafira. Works fine for us. If you are anywhere near Milton Keynes there us a car seat place there that will fit them.

Thank you. I couldn't find the new joie on babies r us is it very new? About an hour and half from Milton k but its possible, only thing is I have a long journey next weekend so not sure if it can be done before that.

Twe is looking like the one but am now stressing over isofix and can't decide, isofix or rear facing as in my budget it seems its either or. Looked on that link to securatot and its really helpful but they don't have vauxhalls at all on any lists of suitable cars for the seats, maybe it's a mistake??

I don't think isofix is any safer as such, just harder to install wrongly - so safer because more likely to be installed correctly. So as long as you make sure you know how to install the seat correctly it will be fine.

Thank you actually that's really helpful as we will only be using it in my car I think so will just have it fitted then leave it. There is the recaro with isofix too but don't think it would fit. Think I have found a local stockist too so hoping to get the britax maxway.
