Roughly how much are erf seats?

Want to do erf with dd2, she is only 3mo so ages to go yet but am about to change car so I'm having a look to see what's out there.
I've seen the new cybex sirona which looks amazing, and I'm loving the swivel seat that you can strap in from the side and then turn round to the back, as I have a back problem so would struggle with doing the harness.
Also like the fact that it doesn't look that big compared to the others I have seen, only prob is its £400!
Just wondering how the price compares with the other erf seats available as that sounds rather on the expensive side

The Two way elite is about £190.

The Hauck Varioguard isn't going to be available for a couple of months but the prices showing online at the moment are around £150-£180.

We paid £300 for our Besafe. I now have twins am thinking of a two way elite for our second ERF. I've heard nothing but bad things about the cybex sirona I'm afraid but agree its very stylish. Seem they compromised on lots of things including size to get the side swivel design.

Hauck Varioguard and joie stages arent newer ERF type seats and are approx £150.

Hmm. I thought it looked on the small side tbh, but the swivel is really appealing to me. I want to do the rear face but bending and twisting holding a wriggling toddler isn't really going to be possible. I can bend and I can twist but both at the same time will probably put me out of action for a week!
May have to look at one of the ff ones with the cushion rather than the harness instead.

I find it miles easier to get my DD into the besafe (RF) than into a FF seat. remember before long they climb in themselves anyway and you just do the straps up. It was hard when we used a britax first class as one of our RF seats as the seatbelt routing gets totally in the way when you are getting the child in but no such worries in the besafe

Getting into a ERF is way easier than any forward facing seat (unless you have a 3door car possibly)

Look at the recent info britax put out about impact sheilds too.

My rf seats appear (to me) to sit higher in the car than ff seats I've seen. My 3 month twins are in Klippan Kiss2 seats and it is so easy to put them in - I don't have to bend as with the base and the chunky seat they are really high up. My toddler is in a Britax Max Way inbetween them and he mostly climbs in by himself and I lean in to strap him in. I have a back condition and have no issues whatsoever using my erf seats. Also had a Britax Two Way Elite (now in mum's car) & have a Klippan Triofix in hubby's, again with no issues using any of them. Definitely less twisting than there would be with a ff seat.

We got Britax multi tech II. £250 it's erf but goes up to age 6 (25kg) so has a longer lifespan than the others we looked at of similar price

Britax Max Way is now £215 at securatot.co.uk - rf to 25kg and a great seat. I prefer it to the TWE and it's a similar price now.
