Best reclining, forward facing car seats

Hi,

We often do long car drives and are now looking for new car seats for our boys who are nearly 2 and currently in rear facing britax car seats which they've nearly grown out of. My preference would be for rear facing seats, but we just can't afford them in the next size bracket so are looking for forward facing, with 5 point harness and a good amount of recline as they often sleep in the car and I don't want their heads on their chests. Anyone got any recommendations? I know lots of them say they recline, but they hardly seem to at all. Thank you :)

we liked the maxi cosi priori xp seats and they could be reclined even when the child is in the seat which was handy

If swapping to FF I'd go for a Kiddy Guardian - impact shield rather than 5 point harness makes it safer and transforms to a HBB when they are big enugh, also easy to fit and swap from car to car. My DD is in a RF besafe seat in my car but a kiddy guardian in DH's and happily sleeps well in the kiddy on long and short journeys

We've got the Kiddy Guardian Pro, it does recline but you have to recline it before you secure the belt. I thought this would be a problem but it hasn't been, and even when DS went to sleep when it wasn't reclined his head never tipped forward. I'd recommend it.
