Maxi cosi cabrio without isofix?

Hi

Following on from the thread about the 5 year lifespan of car seats I have decided to buy a new one. How hard is this one to fit with the seat belts? I tend to have bloody massive big babies so prob would actually take the seat out of the car much, is it worth spending the extra £ on the base?

It does make it a hell of a lot easier if you can stretch to one. I'm selling mine (no need for it any more) if you're anywhere near oxford?

I think it's worth it...
1 - It is impossible to fit it incorrectly, so it is safer than using it with a seatbelt alone (some hideous statistic about the proportion of carseats incorrectly fitted)
2 - a lot easier just to click it in and not faff about with the seatbelt

It's not essential, but will eliminate the odd occasion where you might not strap the seat in 100% correctly. It's click and go.

It's great for when some arse has parked 3" from your car and you need to put baby in via the boot, or the front seat. - just need to lower it in and it's secure.
