Car seats

Britax TWE and small/slim baby?

Does anyone have one of these car seats? I am thinking of getting one for my dad's car because of underfloor storage.

However I can't get to see one in the flesh and on the pics it looks huge and doesn't seem to recline much.

DD is 1 but a bit on the small side and I have visions of her slumping forward in it unable to nap or being uncomfortable.

Has anyone experienced this?

TIA

the recline on it is quite good IMO, although it will depend on the size of your car as well.

we love ours

you can recline the twe to the same angle as a baby carrier to practically upright for an older child. i love ours too.

You can buy a head rest for the TWE which might help too, which I think is a new product. I'm thinking of getting the head rest for when I move my nearly 1 yr old into the TWE, my older DD's head did used to slump sideways quite a lot (although she was perfectly happy in it).

I have two TWEs for my twins. They are quite upright tbh but that is because I put the passenger and driver's seats as far back as they can go for safety. The twins have always been ok in them from about 15 months old, but they do flop forward when they sleep (now aged 3). I think the recline you can get depends on how far forward you are prepared to push the front seats.....
