RF seat for Fiesta (56)

I would like to get a RF seat for DS after his Cabrio, but our car is a bit tiddly and doesn't have isofix. I think probably the multitech or the TWE are going to be best. Does anyone know if these fit in a fiesta? And which one woukd you go for?

Thanks very much!

I've seen a TWE in a Renault Clio which is similar in size to a Fiesta, it made the front passenger seat difficult to sit in though.

Thanks. I was thinking we might have to turn off the airbag and put it in the front seat, so if it fits in the back at all that's a start.

i had a twe in my sisters 3 door fiesta. not too bad in the front seat, but if you can switch the airbag off you could put it in the front too.

Great, thanks nicm! I think I've seen you have different RF seats, do you rate the TWE in general?

Thanks onetwo. I guess I'll have to go somewhere that has them both and see which is best.

Well I spoke to Securatot and they said that in their experience a BeSafe is best, so I think I'll order one from them.

Thanks everyone :)

hi, yes i have the twe and had the kiss. the kiss was good as it was the smallest rf seat. i liked that it was super quick to fit-had no tethers and was isofix in my car, but could be fitted in a non-isofix and that we could recline it when fitted and ds fell asleep. but it was heavy to move between cars.

the twe is my favourite out of the two as ds is till in it and he is 20kgs and still has another 5kgs left but he had outgrown the kiss before he was 3. the twe is really light to move between cars-we just leave a set of tethers in each car. the recline was as much as the baby seat at the start and now he is more upright but has loads of leg space.

i had decided i wanted the isofix besafe before i bought the kiss but when i went to see it i found very heavy and quite upright in my car at the time-a vw golf.

was looking at another one a few weeks ago for ds 2 and have narrowed it down to either hi way or mobi, just not sure as the mobi is so big but have had mc in the past and they have always lasted well but so has ds1's twe, hard to know what to do!

good luck

:)

I am in the same position - Fiesta and will be moving on from cabriofix. What's TWE? Some of the others are very expensive [eek]

it's a britax two way elite. it is a good seat but i'm also looking at the britax hi-way at the minute, for ds2. it's a small seat and is good in small cars apparently. if you're anywhere near belfast or milton keynes you could have a look at both of them, or they are online at carseat.se
