We are thinking of going camping for a weekend in early August. We live in Bristol and don't want to travel more than 2 hours so are looking Dorset/Devon area. We don't need loads of facilities (pools etc) but decent washing facilities and near a beach would be good.

Do you need to book?

We're going to Woodlands at Charmouth (I will get their web address in a mo), my Uncle loves itt here and the beach is FAB- we used to go there anyway when we visited DH's parents in Chard. There are all sorts of places nearby (Weymouth, Lyme Regis) but the palce itaelf is fairly quiet. Hang on....
