Camping Pillows?

Keycamp virgins are off to Lake Garda in less than a fortnight. Flying with Ryanair means stupid baggage allowance.

Any ideas for taking pillows? Should we just take our own? How do we pack them? Or possibly inflatable ones?

Was looking at link<a class="break-all" href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=16038&item=5217210619&rd=1\these" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=16038&item=5217210619&rd=1\these on ebay}. Cod thinks they might be a bit hot. Anyone got any other suggestions? Perhaps cotton covered?

Thanks

Take pillowcases and put sweatshirts etc in them or is that too low tech??

Mind you pillows might be big but they're not that heavy, are they? How much would a thin pillow each in a very lightweight bag weigh?

we've taken our own in the past... but not this year, they take up too much car space... what's wrong with the keycamp ones? have I missed something?

Oh, do they provide them? I didn't know that. In that case don't bother, although if you are worried about hygiene you could take those dustmite-type protector covers.

Q: Do we need to take bedding?

A: If you are staying in a tent, you will need to take your own pillows, pillowcases, bedding and bed linen. If you are staying in a mobile home you will only need to take sheets and pillowcases as blankets and pillows are included in the inventory.

You're the expert!

We only did Eurocamp once, in a tent, 15 years ago and I have no idea if they provided pillows then.

Tenting. They only hire for mobiles. Think we will just roll them up small and take our own.
