In what way do you mean? As a pose to tents?

Being warm and dry whatever the weather, being able to have a wee in the middle of the night without donning an overcoat and wellies, the storage.

I will have one too next year, so you can tell everyone you copied me.
That has to be a positive surely.

Sitting in bed with a nice hot mug of tea, listening to the rain drumming on the roof and watching, through the double glazing, the forlorn campers trudge to the toilet block.

Being able to go camping and cheaply anywhere in the country all year round. Our tent as a loo / sink but we don't use the shower so still use toilet blocks for all that sort of thing (and strictly no number 2s). Also the cooker doesn't work so we BBQ or grill (or go to the pub obv).

DH is more of a camping tent snob purist than me and at some point we'll go back to it but it does mean we can get away from Feb - Oct no probs.

That was meant to say our 'caravan' has a loo / sink....

Can park on hard standing so your living area doesn't become one big squelch-fest.

No need to unpack when you arrive.

Can keep the dog in it when going out for meals.

Can pick up a half decent (though dated) one for £2000

Can go anywhere in the country (and sleep in a bed) for £15 a night.
