which lantern? rechargable? any recommendations?

Am just planning for camping, wondered whether anyone could recommend a good lantern. We don't want anything extraordinary, but I don't want to do my usual trick of buying a really cheap one and having to spend more to replace it because it's so crap... so I thought I'd ask first! Anyone?

Thanks

Depends on what i'm doing/where i'm going

If we are using ehu..we use a car inspection lamp (6.99 b&q) with a low energy bulb.

But we do have one if we are going elec free. We have just bought 2 of these
here as we were impressed with them when a friend had one.
In the past we have used those round led light ufo type things..they were quite good too.

For the bedrooms we just have a torch/head torch in each bedroom on standby

oooh thanks, those lantern capsules look amazing! How much light do they throw off? We've got quite a big tent (8 man) - are they enough to provide the primary light for the tent, or are they just supplementary type lights? Maybe with two or three?

They aren't bad..but
dh just tested them out in the cellar for you.
He reckons you might need 2 for a big mahoosive tent.
We have got 2 for our monty 6
