hello, we are quite regular campers but are looking for a site with a clubhouse(Haven style!!) or second choice, a child friendly pub with beer garden.

We like to go out on the evening rather than stay by the tent, so no quiet, in the middle of Nowhere sites, unless has great facilites.

needs to be within a 40-50 mile radius of the Midlands. Please help quick as i want to book!!

Have just come back from a long weekend here www.hoburne.com/cotswold_main.asp
Has evening entertainment and loads to do on site including indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Definitely recommend it!

peachy we have been to Cheddar and Broadway many times and we love it.i was only joking about the Haven! Just like to have a clubhouse.

wE usually go every yr except for the past couple cos the weather has been so bad.

Still think its a bit far though and it will easily take us a couple of hrs, plus i suspect they will be fully booked way in advance.

I wish i was going there though and Cheddar is so nice and picturesque

They've been bought out by Darwin Holidays haven't they? Our good friend used to do the entertainment there (you probably met him) and he said they were ploughing in the cash, but we didn't go this year. Fancied a year out (DH used to run mouse rafcing events there when we met, odd LOL)

Hmmm, where else? There's one in the FoD we got a leaflet for a week ago with pub etc- will dig out name.

Whitemead Forest park. Also fairly easy run for you

We're going to spend 2 nights at this place later this month

Croft Farm

Is that any good?
