Will we all die?

Will we loose all credibility?

I had a strop this afternoon at DH in the middle of the camping shop cos the box of the one he wanted to buy said "don't use inside a tent" and I'm really bothered by the idea of getting gassed. Natch.

In July/August?

have done -2C with hotwater bottles only from the tap and 6 gazillion layers. (did wonder when getting changed whether we might actually die.)

There was a thread recently about the inadvisability of cooking in a tent and I linked a report of deaths in tents due to people sleeping with a heater and dying of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Not to be done as it is very dangerous.

I'm reading various things inc this about catalytic heaters being fairly safe compared to normal gas flames. Most stuff says to keep the tent ventilated and not sleep with it switched on. Natch.

We get really cold in the evenings. Even in August. Last year sat there shivering in August in Devon in a fleece, hoodie and blanket over my legs. If we're sat indoors cos it's blowing a gale outside, would be good ot have some heat.

Hot water bottles.

More fuel efficient, safer, more snuggly.
