NO 3000 is FINE.

Standard for this country is 2000

I repeat you will be fine and dry.

stop worrying

You'll probably be fine. It's the seams and stuff which are more of an issue, IMO. And a SIG helps.

But I guess that comment doesn't

My Outwell is 3000. I've had it 9 years and it didn't leak till a friend borrowed it and it came back with a hole in the roof. You will be fine.

See, i think Sigs are fab. Previously, we had a tent without one, and that was the real problem when it rained - water would drip off the tent onto the groundsheet and then puddle on the floor.

With a sig and 3000 hh, you'll be absolutely fine.

I'm not sure if it was caused my all the mould that was on the tent when I next went to use it. They swore to me they'd dried it out well and I didn't check. There were 2 tiny, barely bigger than a pin prick holes - but visable to the eye. And the zips were so gunked up with some sort of weird white mould it took me 1/2 an hour of scraping to be able to unzip the bedrooms.
