Who'd want to come?

My suggestion is a weekend in June (i'll go a day early so anyone who wants to make it a 3 nighter can join us then)

Would you prefer:

* Bracelands / Christchurch in the Forest of Dean

* New Forest, eg Roundhill

I know both areas well and they would definitely suit

It wo8ld be on a book and pay yourself basis to minimise hassle and retain good friendships

Bracelands would be fine for us, but I think New Forest is too far for just a couple of nights.

The forest of dean isn't too far from us, would love to come the last weekend in June as its between mine and DHs birthdays!

Definitely if it is a weekend in June.

Either site is ok but New Forest might be better.

Me + DS (4)

Oh I would love to come to the Forest of Dean to meet you all, but New Forest probably too far for a weekend. Maybe we could have the rally field on Bracelands

Would love to come, no preferences on time really (would prefer not end of summer as that's when the daddy long legs are worst and I might really embarrass myself).

I really can't see DH agreeing to a MN camp though ! He will do this

I don't mind where we go. New Forest is nearer to us, but am happy to travel as well

Oh, and FoD, midlands/West best for us, but I'll go pretty much anywhere nice (we were at the Peaks in May).

Oh June is good for me too!

I'm very interested in a Forest of Dean site - not sure DH feels the same but next June gives me lots of time to work on him

I'm up for this, deffo (provided the campsite is affordable, so no more than 10 per night for DS and I combined)

nappyaddict · 08/07/2009 22:32

FOD better for me but it will depend if i'm driving by then.

Wow just spotted this, would LOVE to come!!! Was just about to post if anything ever came of the idea of a MN special needs camping meetup funnily enough.

New Forest v convenient for me (don't even know where FoD is) but can travel. Would be me, DH, 7yr old DD, 5yr old DS and DS2 would be 22m.

I've seen dogs at Bracelands before

I didn't like the look of Christchurch when we went for a walk/nosy at other peoples tents - the facilities look a bit old......
