Any campsite recommendations for this area?
We're getting Howletts tickets with our clubcard points and would like to tie it in with a camping trip.

There are a couple of campsites around Canterbury itself but they are not that inspiring.

The best place in the area is the warren in Folkestone (no 6 in the attached list), which is about 30 minutes drive away but very much worth it. Also Folkestone has a brilliant 'coastal walk' with sunken pritae ships and similar for kids to climb. Really fab. there's also the Romney, Hythe & Dymnchurch railway close by. Much much better choice than Canterbury sites IMHO.

Thanks.
I was struggling to find inspiring ones nearer to Howletts, so by the sea does sound better.

I second that. I know the area well. park in Folkestone on the beach is fantastic in itself. I am planning to stay at the Warren myself shortly. Looks great and had good recommendations from friends. HYTHE and dymchurch steam railway takes you to Dungeoness lighthouse and hythe, the first being interesting, the second being quaint and lovely seaside towm. Beach at Dymchurch is fantastic for kids. Also Dover castle really good. Could even do a day trip to France. Need I say any more.....
