Just about to purchase a roof box for 2 week France camping trip. Seen this one on Roof Box Company - very tempted as seems to be the bees knees of roof boxes but it is expensive and I can't seem to find anywhere else that sells it.

Anyone got one/ recommend it/ got other Kamei boxes that are good? I can't see the point of getting a smaller one - if you're going to fork out, it may as well be a decent size. Also, been a bit put off by cheaper Halford ones as sound a bit tinny and actually by the time you've paid for their roof bars and fitting it doesn't even work out that much cheaper!

we have a kamei (delphin 470 I think hmm- super bit of kit - even DH is impressed & he is VERY fussy

The bloke at the roof box co is very helpful too, DH spent ages on the phone to him before we purchased (from them of course!) Very efficient, ordered at 4pm, arrived at 11am the following day

We also got aero bars as they are much quiter (says fussy DH!)

If you are a caravan & camping club member you also get a discount from them too (5% if memory serves me right, but every little helps)

thanks Betsy - good recommendations. I did actually notice that you don't even need to be a member to get the discount - it just directs you from the website & automatically deducts it - brilliant!
I think it's Kamei + aero bars here I come....
